JAMMU, Oct 26: Life Insurance Agent’s Federation of India (LIAFI), organised Agents Maha Sammelan (annual convention) here today.
On the occasion, All India President SB Srinivasa Chary was the chief guest, whereas All India Secretary General of the federation Shyamal Chakraborty, Satinder Singh Kala, vice president, HQ Delhi,, Naresh Chander Khandewal, North Zone President, Senior Divisional Manager DC Thakur, marketing manager CS Bhawani, manager, CLIA RS Sambyal, manager sales, Jia Lal Sharma, divisional president of National Federation of Insurance Field Workers Rakesh Mangotra, along with other dignitaries were also present.
The function started with the heart welcoming performance by the little angels of Mother’s Pride Joy Pre School, Gandhi Nagar.
While speaking, SB Srinivasa Chary stressed on the vision of LIC of India of insuring every citizen of India by 2020 and called upon the agents community to work day and night to achieve the goal.
Shayamal Chakraborty outlined the various programmes and activities of the federation for the welfare of the agent’s community.
Satinder Singh spoke about the initiatives taken by HQ Delhi, whereas Naresh Chander Khandelwal assured about North Zone’s commitment to LIAFI vision.
DC Thakur outlined the corporations’ goals regarding agent’s welfare and policy holders protection, whereas CS Bhawani informed the agents about the unique features of the insurance product range available with the LIC of India.
Moti Singh, Divisional President, J&K, Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Divisional General Secretary and Harbhajan Singh, founder members of LIAFI, senior agents like Dinesh Khanna, BL Dubey, Darbari Lal Verma, Pardeep Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Avtar Singh, Ghanshyam Sharma, Inder Kour, Jagmeet Singh Raina, SK Jaswal, Sunil Gandotra and Satish Sharma were also present.
