JAMMU, Nov 27: On his 37th death anniversary, rich tribute was paid to Late Girdhari Lal Dogra, son of the soil and one of the greatest leaders of Jammu, who served the erstwhile J&K State as Finance Minister for more than two decades.
Lt Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma and several prominent personalities were among those who paid floral tribute to Late Girdhari Lal Dogra, during a function in this connection, organized by Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Trust, here today.

The Trust Members, including V K Dogra and O P Dogra were also present on the occasion. They presented two books on life history of Girdhari Lal Dogra to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
For adherence of Covid protocol in view of pandemic situation, the function for tribute paying ceremony was kept a low key affair by the organizers. Therefore, no speeches were made by the participants, who briefly visited the spot and left after paying floral tribute before a portrait of Late Girdhari Lal Dogra at the Dogra Chowk.
