Leopard mauls school teacher

SRINAGAR, Aug 23: A Leopard along with two cubs today mauled a school teacher in Rohmoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Locals said Master Muhammad Yousuf Mir, resident of Rahmoo Pulwama, who is presently posted at High School Tujan Pulwama, was attacked by Leopard and two cubs at Tulkhan Naad in Balwardar orchards at Rahmoo.
The teacher, who was on way to his school, received grievous shoulder and leg injury due to Leopard attack. He was shifted to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment. A wildlife team later rushed to the spot to tranqulize Leopard along with cubs.
