KISHTWAR, June 12: A leopard killed cattle in Kuchal area of Tehsil Mughal Maidan area, here.
As per police sources, a leopard entered into a cattle shed and killed 12 sheep belonging to Rayaz Ahmed Raina, son of Ghulam Mohammad Raina of Kuchal, Tehsil Mughal Maidan during the intervening night of June 11 and 12.
The people residing near the incident site have urged the administration to help this poor man and provided compensation to him.
However, police has also taken cognizance in this regard.
