JAMMU, Jan 19: Science Club of Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar in collaboration with Department of Physics organized an extension lecture on “Advancements of Material Sciences”.
The aim of this lecture was to acquaint the students with the importance of material science in fabricating crystal growth in the laboratory and the innovative use of the Nano technology.
On the occasion, Dr KK Bamzai from Department of Physics and Electronics, University of Jammu, was the resource person, while Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the college was the chief guest.
Dr Kiran Bakshi in her address said that such kind of lectures will help students to be the generation of young scientists in the coming time.
Dr Bamzai discussed the innovative method of development technology, which will improve the quality of life in general.
Earlier, Prof Sudha Sehgal presented the welcome address, while Prof Hans Raj presented vote of thanks and Prof Suchitra Saproo conducted the proceedings.
