Lead futures down on subdued spot demand

NEW DELHI, Feb 6: Lead prices fell 0.73 per cent to Rs 168.85 per kg in futures trade today due to subdued spot demand and weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract fell by Rs 1.25, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 168.85 per kg a business turnover of 669 lots.
The March contract of the metal declined by Rs 1.20, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 169.30 in three lots.
Marketmen said the fall in lead futures was due to a subdued demand from battery-makers in the domestic market. (PTI)
