WSS worth Rs 10 cr for Latti area

UDHAMPUR, July 14: Latti Development Committee and PRI members of the Latti and Dudu area have extended gratitude to the Prime Minister Modi and Minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, who happens to be the Member Parliament of the area, for the sanction of Rs 10 crores Water Supply Scheme (WSS), under Jal Jeevan Mission for this remote area.
DDC Chairman, Udhampur Lal Chand in presence of DDC Member Pincky Devi, SDM Dudu Kulraj Singh, Tehsildar Latti Paramdeep Singh, LDC Chairman Krishan Lal Gupta, local Sarpanch Kasturi Lal Gupta, Sarpanch Darshan Devi, Sarpanch Pardeep Singh Rana, president Beopar Mandal Latti Yunis Naik and others, laid foundation stone for the WSS the other day. Officers of the PHE Department local SHO, Insp Zulfkar Ali and BDO were also present.
The people of Latti town and its rural area will be benefited with this Water Supply Scheme. The DDC and BDC members besides PRIs of the area extended gratitude to the PM, MOS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and concerned officers of the Jal Shakti Department and District Administration Udhampur for such a major Water Supply Scheme for the first time in the history, for meeting the drinking water needs of the people of this remote Dudu Sub Division.
