SRINAGAR, May 16: The Legislative Council today issued provisional calendar for the Budget Session (2016-17) beginning here on May 25 with the Governor’s address.
On 26, 27 and 31 May, there will be discussion in the House on Motion of Thanks on the Governor’s Address.
The Budget 2016-17 will be presented in the House on May 30, while general discussion on Budget will be held on 1, 2 and 3 June.
The session in the Upper House would conclude on July 2.
