SRINAGAR, June 19: The Chairman Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra constituted several committees to conduct the business in Legislative Council.
Accordingly, Ajat Shatru Singh will be the Chairman of Rules Committee while Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy and Ali Mohammad Dar Chairmen of House Committee and Library Committee respectively.
The Chairman also nominated Nurboo Gialchan Chairman of Committee on Petitions, Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah Chairman of Privilege Committee, Master Noor Hussain Chairman of Committee on Government Assurances, Ali Mohammad Dar Chairman of Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Mohammad Ashraf Mir Chairman of Ethics Committee and Mohammad Muzafar Parray Chairman of Environment Committee.
Mr. Malhotra also constituted four Department Related Standing Committees with Showkat Hussain Ganai, Sham Lal Bhagat, Ghulam Nabi Monga and Naeem Akhtar Andrabi its Chairmen.
