JAMMU, Dec 17: President Pir Panchal and Director Radio Sharda 90.4 FM Ramesh Hangloo today released the Bhajan CD of Laxmi Raina Chowgami at a simple but impressive function in the premises of Radio Sharda complex here.
The function was attended by a galaxy of artists, writers and social activists who included Bihari Kak, Jai Krishan Koul Bezan, M K Raina, Jai Krishan Raina, P K Raina, Vijay Koul, Gopi Krishan Bahar, Rajni Bahar and others.
Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Hangloo said Bhajans sung of Laxmi Raina Chowgami are touching heart and soothing the soul. He said it is a matter of pride for the entire community that despite the mass exodus people are taking keen interest in remaining linked to their roots and hundreds of new writers, singers poets have emerged in last 34 years of exile.
Bihari Kak, Jai Krishan Bezan and Jai Krishan Raina also acclaimed the Bhajans of Laxmi Raina Chowgami and expressed the hope that Radio Sharda will continue to explore the talent in the new generation of community.
