Laws and rights in India

Sir,
Perhaps India is the only country in the world where there are no stringent laws, where its citizens enjoy more rights than the citizens of most of the democratic, Islamic and communist countries world over. We in India have fundamental rights which guarantee complete freedom of speech, expression and adapt and practise religion of one’s own choice. It is seen that many times these laws go against the integrity, solidarity and sovereignty of the country. Now a days these laws are being made weapon to destabilise the country on the caste and religious grounds. It is said ‘ your freedom starts where my nose ends’. These rights some times become a long rope in the hands of some of mischievous persons who use it suiting to their comfort and need. The time has come to review or replace such rights and laws enshrined in our constitution and law books which are proving detrimental for the very existence of the country. Such laws and rights are becoming a noose for the peaceful and law abiding citizens of the country while the anti national elements and some pseudo intelligentsia interpret these rights and laws in their own way suiting to their purpose. These laws and rights must be either reviewed or replaced immediately lest the nation should pay a heavy price for keeping the country united. Let the first preference of every Indian be to protect hard earned freedom.
