JAMMU, Mar 17: The last rites of IGP SR Samuel were performed at Pramakudi, Ramnathapuram, Tamil Nadu, today.
On behalf of all ranks of J&K Police, Anand Jain, IGP Headquarters PHQ attended the last rites of Samuel and laid a floral wreath on the mortal remains of the departed officer.
As has been reported earlier, Samuel, IGP passed away yesterday morning in Delhi. Samuel was on deputation to GoI as Joint Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. An IPS officer of 1999 batch, he was posted in the State as SDPO Chrar-i-Sharief, Additional SP Jammu, AD SKPA Udhampur, SSP Leh and Commanding Officer IRP 13th Battalion.
