Larnoo village gets J&K Bank ATM

SRINAGAR, Apr 11: Jammu and Kashmir Bank dedicated an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) to public in South Kashmir at Larnoo, one of the remotest villages in district Anantnag.
The machine was inaugurated by the Bank’s Vice President and Zonal Head, South Kashmir, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir in presence of Cluster Head, Tasaduq Ahmad Dar and Branch Head, Altaf Husain Wani.
A large number of Bank customers including businessmen, employees, farmers, traders and respectable citizens of the village were present on the occasion.
With the installation of this ATM, the total number of J&K Bank ATMs rose to 49 in the district and 111 in South Kashmir.
Zonal Head, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, while speaking on the occasion highlighted the efforts of the Bank in reaching to remote areas with world class banking service. He impressed upon the audience to avail the benefits of various loan schemes particularly Kissan Credit Card scheme.
The villagers appreciated the role of the bank in bringing about socio economic development in the remote rural areas by opening new business units and also thanked the bank for commissioning ATM.
Senior citizens of the area also spoke on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the bank management in providing loans to all segments of business community particularly to educated unemployed youth under SKEWPY and other self employment schemes.
