SRINAGAR, Apr 3: In its drive against the menace of distribution of spurious pesticides/fertilizers/seeds amongst farming community of valley, Law Enforcement Inspector Shopian has seized 300 Kgs. of Stopper and 30 Kgs of Myclobil from Madina Enterprises Shopian, 100 Kgs of Master Zyme-T from M/s Ghulam Nabi Ganie Shopian.
Further 20 litre of Ethion and 350 Kgs of Biozyme from M/s Fruit Plus Plant Clinic Trenz Shopian, 25 kgs of Myclomain, 15 litres APSA-80, 8 kgs of Supershine, 4 litres of Built from Nazir Ahmad Farooq Ahmad & Co Shopian, 8 kgs of Super calcium, 2 litres of Nectar plus, 12 kgs of Superstar, 15 kgs of Zed-80, 120 litres IPL-Ziram-27, 20 kgs of Myclobil from M/s Shahid Agro Chemicals Shopian, 200 kgs of Cygnet from Malik Agro Chemicals, 240 kgs of Nanozyme Trude, 312 kgs of Nanozyme granules from Sofi Fertilizers, 928 kgs of Nanozyme granules, 17 litre of Nanozyme liquid, 11 litre APSA-80 from Sabzar Pesticides Ramnagri Shopian, 300 kgs of Masterzyme from Thokar Fertilizer Ramnagri Shopian, 20 litres of Omycin, 35 liter Nanozyme liquid, 11.50 kgs of Insyst and 240 kgs of Nanozyme GR from Sofi Fertilizers and Pesticides, 380 quintals of DAP from Paul Fertilizers Vehil were stopped from sale, which were found without license.
Meanwhile, a team of officers Law Enforcement Department of Agriculture Production under the supervision of the Director Law Enforcement M.S. Katoo inspected various pesticides and fertilizer dealers of district Baramulla and found various dealers running their business in contravention of Insecticide Act 1968 and Insecticides rule 1983.
In this connection 150 litres of Plantofix manufactured by Hi Power Fertilizer and Chemicals were put on sale stop from its distributor H.S. Traders Sopore, which was found without license, 155kgs of Nativo of Bayer Crop Sciences were Put on sale stop its Distributor Kashmir Agro Centre Sopore for Contravention of Insecticide Rules, 1983, 1000 kgs of Ishan manufactured by Tata Rallies were put on sale stop, which were found in contravention to Insecticide Rules 1983, 5500 kgs. of Bhumika organic manure were put on sale stop from Maza Enterprises Sopore, which was found without sales permission.
