JAMMU, Jan 10: Dr. Manoranjana Herath, a noted Sculptor from Sri Lanka here today gave live portrait demonstration at Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) along with slide show of sculptures and paintings.
He was accompanied by another Sculptor of repute, Punkaj Manav from New Delhi.
Prof. Satnam Kour, IMFA Principal hosted the programme as chief guest and Dr. Milan Sharma, Teaching Faculty in Painting Department of IMFA was instrumental behind the event.
In her welcome address Prof. Kour termed the event as a creative one as well as eye opener besides a step forward for the IMFA students to have rich interaction with a Sculptor of eminence and from different school of thought.
She lauded the creative insight of Dr. Manoranjana and his skills.
Dr. Manoranjana is presently a Senior Lecturer in Department of Visual and Performing Arts, Sri Lanka.
