JAMMU, Feb 5: Neelam Langeh, State president of BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha, J&K and former MLA, today presided over a Dalit Yuva Samvad programme here at Ambphalla.
During the programme, Adarsh Jathiar, general secretary of BJP SC Morcha, J&K, district president, Parmod Kapahi and Nidhi Magotra were also present.
Speaking at the programme, Langeh said that the Dalit Yuva Samvad Abhiyan, beyond being a platform for open dialogue and engagement, emerged as a catalyst for inspiration, fostering a collective commitment among the youth towards positive societal change. The event not only provided a space for discussions on pressing issues but also ignited a sense of purpose and responsibility among the youth participants.
He said that the conversations and interactions during the programme stimulated a shared understanding of the role the youth can play in shaping a more inclusive and equitable society. With an emphasis on empowerment and unity, the programme left a lasting impact by motivating the young participants to actively contribute to the betterment of their communities and the nation. As a result, the Dalit Yuva Samvad stands as a testament to the potential of constructive dialogue in instigating positive social transformation and fostering a renewed commitment to building a brighter future, he added.
During the event, Langeh emphasized the crucial role that youth play in the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Recognizing India as a nation of vibrant youth, he highlighted their potential to drive societal transformation through the exercise of their voting rights.
Langeh urged the youth to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, acknowledging the significant efforts made by the Government to uplift weaker sections of society. He applauded the launch of several flagship schemes aimed at the welfare of marginalized communities.
Langeh said, “Youth have the power to shape the destiny of our nation. It is imperative for them to actively participate in the democratic process and contribute to the betterment of society”. “I urge the youth to support and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Modi, who has tirelessly worked towards the upliftment of the weaker sections through various welfare schemes,” he added.
