JAMMU: The landslide hit new track has been temporarily closed for the pilgrims performing yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine situated in Trikuta Hills of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“An information has been received that landslide has occured near Himkoti on new track,” Tahir Bhat, SSP Reasi said.
He said that new track has been closed for yatries as a precautionary measure, adding, “no injury has been reported in the incident.”
The yatra is in progress from the traditional route and will resume only after the landslide is cleared, said an official. (AGENCIES)
