This has reference to the recent landmine explosion in which an armyman lost his leg. This is not the first of its kind incident in the area, but such incidents continue to occur here there, causing great men and material loss. Many people, children, including animals have lost their life in such incident. Though the army had taken several steps to demine the area, the border area needs to further cleaned so that no such cases occur in the future.
The people who get crippled have to live a traumatic life besides going through financial losses. It is beyond the reach of these people to bear the huge cost for treatment. The loss of an armyman in such explosions is quite immense. The Nation cannot afford such a loss. Many children while playing in the fields too have fallen prey to these mines.
To avoid such incidents in the future, it is requested to the authorities to once again launch demining operation in areas where land mines had been laid to prevent enemy from crossing the border.
