JAMMU, Apr 2: Noted industrialist and president Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Lalit Mahajan has been elected as chairman while SB Abrol as secretary general of the Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ).
In the annual general meeting of the Federation of Industries Jammu, held today at BBIA Bhawan, Bari Brahmana under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jain, all the elected office bearers of BBIA, AOI Gangyal, SSIA Birpur, Digiana, Samba, Kathua and Laghu Udyog elected the new office bearers.
President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), Lalit Kumar Mahajan was unanimously elected as chairman of the Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ); SB Abrol, general secretary AOI was elected as secretary general FOIJ and Ajay Langer general secretary BBIA, as convener of FOIJ for the term 2016-17.
Rajesh Jain (president AOI), Romesh Badyal (president SSIAB), Vijay Aggarwal (president Samba), Ajit Bawa (president KIUA), Devinder Verma ( president SSI Kathua), Jatinder Aul (president Digiana) and Rajinder Gupta ( president Laghu Udyog) were elected as Co-Chairmen of the FOIJ.
Mr Mahajan while taking over the charge as chairman FOIJ, expressed his gratitude to the outgoing chairman Rajesh Jain and applauded the contribution of Mr Jain and his team for the benefit of the industrial sector and assured the members that the Federation will work for the benefits of the Industrials fraternity and provide hassle free environment for the speedy growth of Industrial sector in the State.
