Lal Singh takes up issue of stranded Jammu people with LG

JAMMU, Apr 14: Former MP and Chairman Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Party (DSSP), Ch Lal Singh held a detailed telephonic discussion with Lt Governor , G C Murmu and apprised him about the pathetic conditions of the thousands of youth of Jammu stranded in the various parts of the country due to the ongoing lockdown.
He told the LG that so many people of Jammu province were calling him seeking their safe return to their home as they have been disowned by even their respective employers and are facing lots of problems. The youth of Jammu province held up in the States like Maharashtra, Andhra Pardesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, called Ch Lal Singh and sought his intervention for their safe return to their home State.
Ch Lal Singh after telephonically calling on the LG, submitted a list of 630 stranded citizens of Jammu province for their safe return to the home State as the extension in lockdown has aggravated their problems.
Ch. Lal Singh also called his former colleagues of various States in the Parliament ,who adhered to his request and came forward for the help of the people of Jammu province in their respective constituencies.
Lt Governor G C Murmu assured Ch Lal Singh that he would personally take up the issue with the concerned Government and will ensure their safe return to their places in Jammu Kashmir UT.
