Lal Singh demands delimitation of Assembly constituencies

REASI, Dec 20: Former minister and president, Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Ch Lal Singh today strongly raised the demand of delimitation of Assembly constituencies and maintained that a great injustice has been done with the Jammu region.
Addressing a large public rally at Arnas in Reasi district today, Ch Lal Singh ( Ex-MP) said that instead of more area Jammu region has less assembly seats. ” We are fighting for equal money distribution for development works in Jammu region and creation of Assembly constituencies as per the area of the region,” Lal Singh said.
The former MP referred to the injustice done by the PSC with the people of Jammu. While commenting on the recent selection list of Assistant Professors , he said that a grave injustice with the people of Jammu and Medical College of Jammu has been done by selecting only one candidate from Jammu and four from Kashmir.
Two Kashmiris are selected for Srinagar Medical College and two Kashmiris are selected for Jammu Medical College where as only one Dogra has been selected against five positions. He further said injustice is done with KAS, KPS , KCS and other job aspirants from Jammu region. He said that injustice with the people of Jammu has been going on for the last 60 years. He made a general appeal to the people of the State in general and Dogras in particular to be more vigilant and conscious as the present political scenario smacks of a deep rooted conspiracy against Dogras.
Lal Singh also highlighted the issue of Dogra certificate where he hints of conspiracy with the people of Jammu region. He said that DSS will stand like a rock and ensure a separate PSC and SSRB for Jammu region. The demand of the separate PSC and SSRB of the Jammu region has been reflected in the vision document of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan. He sought public support on 25 points of his the vision document. He said that there should be rotational CM in J&K, one term for Jammu and one term for Kashmir.
