POONCH, June 15: Four persons including a lady police constable were injured in a car accident on Bhimber Gali-Mendhar Road in district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that an Alto car, bearing registration No. JK02N/ 9781 which was on way to Mendhar from Bhimber Gali, went out of control and rolled down into a gorge near Kottan village.
The locals of the area rushed to the spot, rescued the injured and shifted them to Mendhar hospital. The police had also arrived there after receiving information. While three injured including lady constable Gulzan, resident of Dhar Galoon were undergoing treatment in SDH Mendhar, seriously injured Mohd Abid, also resident of Dhar Galoon was referred to District Hospital, Rajouri and then to GMC, Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
