LADAKH, Mar 24: Ladakh got due recognition after a long battle of Ladakhi people for their rights under Narendra Modi’s Government. This was stated by Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) national vice-president & prabhari for J&K State, Avinash Rai Khanna, while addressing Shakti Kendra Pramukh Sammelan here, today.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while prompting the party leaders to work extra miles in these elections, alleged that previous Governments in the State and at the Centre failed to solve the genuine issues of the people as they were infected by the malfunctioning psychology. No leader in the past cared for the feelings of Ladakh region. They deliberately ignored the genuine demands of the region.
They always let down the hard working of the innocent people of the region, but now the dark periods are over, he said and cautioned about the evil designs of Congress, NC and PDP, who always conspired against the region and its people.
He was accompanied by BJP incharge for Ladakh and MLC, Vikram Randhawa, former Minister, MLC Tsering Dorjay, CEC Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Deputy CEC, Gyail P Wangail, district president, Kargil Ali, district president, Leh, Dorjay Angchuk, EC Phuntsog Stanzin, EC Mumtaz, former CEC, Dorjay Mutup and other senior BJP leaders.
Khanna, further, said that under the dispensation of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the region got its due share. The divisional status for the region means that BJP has taken first step towards its duty for the nationalist people of Ladakh. He said that the mega power projects, local self-sustaining economics, improved infrastructure, University are few of the steps that have been ensured only under the Modi regime.
He said that this is just the start and asked the BJP leaders to approach the masses for seeking their active support for Narendra Modi to pen the whole story of Ladakh’s development.
Vikram Randhawa, in his address, focused on the equitable development to the Ladakh region, that has been ensured under the BJP’s regime. He said that earlier in 2014, BJP fought on the image of Modi , but this time in 2019, BJP is going to contest the Parliament elections on the clean, clear image and also the plethora of public welfare works and decisive good governance delivered by Narendra Modi . He asked the party leaders to put every ounce of effort for elections.
Tsering Dorjay, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and other local BJP leaders also spoke on the numerous development projects that were initiated by Modi led regime. They also focused on the local issues and repeated the BJP’s commitment to resolve them on first priority. They said that the Ladakh region has full faith on Modi and his efforts for the development of the region.
Councillor Kargil, Councillor Leh, district general secretary, Samstan, president, Mahila Morcha, Dr. Yangchan, State secretary, BJYM and incharge Tashi Khachu, president, Yuva Morcha, Lobzang and other BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.
