Labourer found murdered in factory

JAMMU, July 2: A labourer was murdered while sleeping at a factory in Marh area of city outskirts.
According to a police sources, a labourer identified as Deepak Kumar (25) son of Babu Lal, resident of Madhya Pradesh was found murdered this morning in his room at a tile factory in Derian Morh, Marh with his throat slit by using a sharp edged weapon.
Sources said that the deceased was working as a labourer in the tile factory. Quoting other labourers, police sources said that Deepak had a quarrel last night with two of his other colleagues namely Sri Om and Panna Lal while they were in inebriated condition.
“In the morning, Deepak’s body was found in a pool of blood in his room with his head almost cut and separated from rest of the body by using some sharp edged weapon,” they said, adding, no weapon was, however, recovered from the spot of crime.
SDPO Domana, Deputy SP Kosheen Koul said that a case under relevant section has been registered in this connection at police station Domana and some suspects have been rounded up on the basis of suspicion. “They are being interrogated and hopefully, the case will be cracked soon,” the officer added.
