JAMMU, Aug 19: A labourer was found hanging today in his shanty in Bohri area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Rakesh (30), resident of Chattisgarh. His body was found hanging this evening in his ‘jhuggi’ (shanty) at Bohri near Luthra Academy, where he was presently residing,” a police official said.
He said the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police post Pounichak.
