UDHAMPUR, May 14: A young labourer died after wall of an under construction temple fell on him while a middle aged man committed suicide by hanging himself, here today.
Reports said that a labourer, identified as Ramesh Kumar (26), son of Amar Nath of Mazori, Ramnagar, was critically injured when fore wall of an under construction temple at Brahmpur collapsed. He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead. Police has registered a case in this connection at Udhampur Police Station.
In another incident, one Khem Raj (50), son of Mandu of village Kultyar Bala, Pancheri, was found hanging from a tree near his house. He had apparently committed suicide. However, Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
