KISHTWAR, Apr 1: In a major relief to the registered building construction workers of Kishtwar who have to battle in these hard days of lockdown to combat the spread of corona Pandemic, the Labour Department Kishtwar today disbursed an amount of Rs 43, 20,000 among all the 4320 active workers.
This amount was disbursed among 4320 workers, Rs 1000 per worker through DBT mode which was sanctioned as wage assistance for purchase of ration and other essentials.
ALC Kishtwar Anoop Kumar, said that they have 4320 active workers in the district and the amount has been disbursed on account of COVID-19 assistance to all the active workers through DBT mode.
