JAMMU, Feb 17: The Legislative Assembly today unanimously adopted a Resolution expressing its gratitude to Union Minister for Health, Ghulam Nabi Azad for announcing four Medical Colleges and two Cancer hospitals in the State.
The House also impressed upon the Central Government to establish Medical Colleges at Poonch-Rajouri, Kupwara, Udhampur, Kulgam, Budgam, Bandipora, Leh/ Kargil, Samba and Pulwama Districts.
The Resolution was moved by Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Poonch and seconded by A. R. Veeri, PDP MLA.
