JAMMU, Jan 15: Kyra Thakyal, a student of Delhi Public School Jammu, achieved a remarkable feat by winning 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal at the 4th Indo-Nepal International Taekwondo Championship held in Chandigarh. Kyra secured Gold in the Poomsae event and Silver in the Fight event (Kyorugi) in the 18kg Weight and Under-8 category.
Her outstanding performance not only brought honour to DPS Jammu but also highlighted her exceptional talent in the sport. The management of DPS Jammu, including President M. K. Ajatshatru Singh, Ritu Singh, Director S.S. Sodhi, Principal Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated Kyra and her parents for this achievement.
