JAMMU, Nov 27: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has ordered the transfer of senior IAS officer Ashish Kundra from Delhi to Union Territory of Ladakh, where he will take the charge of Chief Secretary from January or upon assuming office.

“With the approval of the competent authority, 1996 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer Ashish Kundra is hereby transferred from Delhi to Ladakh and posted as Chief Secretary, Ladakh, with effect from January 1, 2026 or from the date he assumes charge, whichever is earlier,” read an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
