JAMMU, July 23: A delegation of Kashmiri Samiti Delhi (KSD) met Home Minister at Union Capital today and discussed the various problems of the displaced people with him.
As per a release, the delegation was led by KSD president Rakesh Kaul who was accompanied by its vice president Rakesh Razdhan and general secretary, Hira Lal Jad.
The delegation apprised him of the problems of the inmates of Jagti camp at Jammu who are facing power shortage and insanitation problem while in Delhi the migrant traders are also facing problems and demanded allotment of stalls for them.
It demanded regularization of Kashmiri migrant contractual teachers and enhancement of cash relief.
Mr Kaul also stressed on passage of Kashmiri Hindu Shrines and Temples Bill as the condition of temples and shrines in Valley is deteriorating day by day. He said a team of Samiti leaders will visit Valley in August to assess the situation for their return and informed the Home Minister about the plight of migrant employees putting up in various clusters in Valley.
