UDHAMPUR, Sept 1: Watchman of ancient Pandu Temples Krimchi Udhampur was shot dead other security guard during the intervening night.
According to Police, Rakesh Kumar (35), son of Suram Chand of Ramnagar, who was working as Chowkidar at Pandu Temples, was shot dead by one Sagar Singh of Krimchi Udhampur, SIS civil security guard deployed at Temples.
The accused shot at Rakesh Kumar with his 12 bore gun resulting into on the spot death of the later.
Even as the accused fled away after committing the crime, he was held later on by the Police, which is investigating the matter.
Cause of murder was yet to be ascertained.
