RAJOURI, Mar 10: Minister of State for Transport, Rural Development and Horticulture, Abdul Ghani Kohli received a warm welcome on his arrival in Kalakote constituency. It was his first visit to the constituency after assuming charge.
Scores of people from various parts of Kalakote constituency turned up and put forth a list of demands seeking the intervention of the Minister. The demands pertained to inclusion of nomadic population in census survey list, improvement drinking water supply, medicare, better road connectivity, better electric infrastructure, upgradation of educational institutions, industrial upgradation in the area and other basic facilities.
Addressing people at Kalakote and Dangri, Mr Kohli assured them that all genuine demands will be looked into and solved at the earliest. He said steps will be taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of ration for which he said matter will be taken with the CAPD Minister.
Minister sought cooperation from the public in implementing the developmental works and asked them to approach him directly whenever required. He assured the public that he will serve them whole heartedly.
