KKHMS, DKUYU discuss migrants’ problems

JAMMU, Sept 8: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha (KKHMS), Kashmiri Khatri Youth Sabha (KKYS) and Displaced Kashmiri Unemp-loyed Youth Union (DKUYU) in a meeting today held under the chairmanship of Er. Ramesh Chander Mahajan discussed various burning problems faced by educated unemployed migrant youth living in camp and non camp areas of Jammu.
The meeting demanded that the priority in newly announced 3000 posts under PM package be given to the over aged youth and special announcement regarding age relaxation be given up to 45 years of age.
It also demanded advertisement of remaining posts under PM package, additional Class Fourth posts for those migrant youth who could not continue their education due to poverty and migration, holding of on spot regular police recruitment drive for migrant youth, sanction of unemployment loan to unemployed migrant youth, compensation to over aged displaced youth, reservation of 10 seats each in Civil Services examinations of State as well as Centre and reservation of 25,000 posts in government departments, semi government departments, public and private companies from class fourth to higher posts for the migrants.
