Kishmish weakens on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Aug 8:  Kishmish prices declined by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amidst adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing areas.
Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices were down by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,600-5,600 and Rs 9,000-10,000 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid increased arrivals from producing areas mainly pulled down kishmish prices at the dry fruit market here.
Following are today’s quotations (per 40 kgs):
Almond (California) Rs 23,000, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,500-11,000; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 7,100-7,300; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 780-800 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 750-850 per kg. (PTI)
