Kim Cattrall worried she might die of Alzheimer’s disease

LONDON, Dec 13:  Actress Kim Cattrall says she has a fear that she might die of Alzheimer’s disease.
The 60-year-old actress said she became concerned about the condition after it took her father Dennis four years ago, but is trying to consider her dad’s demise as a “wake-up call” to encourage her to enjoy her life even more, reported Female First.
“I’m concerned about Alzheimer’s disease. It took my father. But that’s your DNA . It’s part of life. And I’m trying not to be so fear-based.
“It’s a wake-up call to enjoy life, more than anything else. I want to make the most of the time that I have where I’m healthy and mobile. My mother is all there – she’s 87 and amazing,” Cattrall said.
The “Sex and the City” star said she is happy with the way her life has been.
“I think I’m just happy about choices that I’ve made. I’m accepting myself and gracefully going forward as much as I can. I like myself now. It’s that feeling of surviving, that you’ve been through a lot of and you’ve got through the other side and still have your sense of humour.
“That’s what I think is intrinsically British about me – I can laugh about things,” she said. (PTI)
