JAMMU, Apr 1: Police recovered a kidnapped woman and arrested one person.
“A complaint was lodged with police station Nagrota, by Mushtaq Ahmed of Shiba, Nagrota, that his wife has been kidnapped by one Mohd Sadiq, son of Noor Hussain of Ragoora”, said SDPO Nagrota Khalik Choudhary.
After registering a case under FIR number 79/12 with Nagrota police station, a team headed by SHO OP Chib was constituted, he said, adding, that the team recovered the woman from Ragoora and arrested the accused.
The woman was handed over to family members after completing legal formalities and further investigation into the case is going on.
