RAJOURI, May 22: Police today rescued kidnapped mother and her daughter from Uttar Pradesh and arrested two accused.
As per police sources, a mother and her daughter, residents of Dhani Dhar area of Rajouri were abducted few months back.
Accordingly a case was registered at Rajouri police station and a special team was constituted.
On specific inputs, the team conducted raid in a house at Barwala village of district Muzaffar Nagar of Uttar Pardesh and rescued the kidnapped mother and her daughter.
Two accused identified as Mohammad Ahsan and Mohammad Rayess, sons of Rayasat Khan, residents of Barwala, Muzaffar Nagar area of Uttar Pardesh.
A case under FIR 10/14 under Section 366, 363 and 109 RPC stands registered at police station Rajouri and further investigation is on.
The special team led by Inspection Officer Mohammad Aslam Lone under the supervision of SHO Yashpal Jamwal and SSP Rajouri Mubassir Latifi made the arrest.
