JAMMU, Nov 16: Bishnah Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, on November 1 this year, a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Station Bishnah stating that his minor has been kidnapped by a man namely Mohammad Altaf, son of Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of District Kulgam, at present Roun Domail District Udhampur.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 163/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl viz arrest the abductor.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Shabir Khan rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the abductor.
The kidnapped girl has been handed over to her family, while further investigation into the case is going on.
