JAMMU, July 1: Bishnah police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested three accused.
As per police sources, yesterday a written complaint was lodged by a lady with police station Bishnah stating that her minor daughter has been kidnapped by Mithun, son of Rajinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, son of Ajeet Singh and Manjit Kour, wife of Rajinder Singh, all residents of Gurdaspur Punjab and Santu, son of Rafail of Ranchi, at present Bishnah.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 139/17 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Bishnah and hunt was launched to rescue the girl and arrest the kidnappers.
During the course of investigation, police team conducted raids at various places in and around Jammu and finally rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested three accused namely Mithun, Rajinder Singh and Santu. Hunt is going on to arrest the absconding Manjit Kour.
After conducting medical examination and completing other formalities, the girl was handed over to parents.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
