Kidnapped girl rescued, abductor arrested

JAMMU, June 14: Bakshi Nagar Police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Station Bakshi Nagar stating that his minor daughter went missing.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 89/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Ravi Kant was constituted under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar.
The team connected various leads and after hectic efforts and analysis of technical inputs along with the support of the native police of concerned areas, finally rescued the kidnapped girl from Punjab and arrested the abductor, who was identified as Mukul Kalotra, son of Bharat Bhushan Kalotra of Reshamgarh Colony.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
