RAJOURI/POONCH, May 12: A minor girl kidnapped from Budhal area by a local youth of the other community was recovered from Sunderbani area today.
Reports said 17-year old Samia Akhatar (fake name), resident of Gadyok village in Budhal was allegedly kidnapped four days back by one Jagdev Kumar, son of Chanda, resident of the same area. The girl was student of 10th class. The parents of the girl loddged an FIR No. 42/2013 with the Budhal police after coming to know about the incident and police started search for the girl.
On the basis of some inputs, a police party recovered the girl from Sunderbani area today. After medical examination, the girl was restored to the family.
Meanwhile, one Fozia (assumed name), daughter of Manzoor, hailing from Gursai area of Mendhar has been kidnapped by one local youth. Parents of the girl lodged an FIR No. 24/13 with the Gursai Police that their daughter has been kidnapped by one Mohd Sajid (20), son of Maqbool Hussain, resident of Sangiot. The girl has remained untraced for the last two weeks. The police has started a search for the girl.
