JAMMU, Sept 25: A kidnapped girl has been rescued by Narwal police.
As per police sources, family members of a girl lodged a complaint with Police Post Narwal stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Ajay of Nagrota.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police conducted raids at several locations and finally rescued the kidnapped girl. The kidnapper is still absconding and hunt was going to arrest him.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal Police Post SI Vikram Manhas rescued the kidnapped girl under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Bharat Sharma, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
