JAMMU, June 3: Minister of State for Industries & Commerce Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo today visited Bari Brahmana industrial complex to take stock of various units functioning there.
Commissioner Secretary I&C, Shantmanu, Director, Industries & Commerce, Jammu, G. A Qureshi & other officers of various departments accompanied the Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister said that Government has resolved to address various issues related to the industrial sector. Several steps have been taken to encourage the entrepreneurs to setup industrial units in the State to give boost to the industrial sector and to enhance employability of the educated youth of the state, he added.
The Minister visited industrial units of M/s Shalimar Floorings P. Ltd., M/s Saraswati Plastotech P. Ltd & M/s Emcure Pharmaceutical and others.
On the occasion, President BBIA Annil Suri highlighted various issues related to the industrial sector for consideration of the Government.
