KISHTWAR, May 29 : Minister of State for Industries & Commerce and Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo reviewed the status of development works and welfare schemes at a meeting of the District /Sectoral Officers of District Kishtwar
The Minister took sector wise review of the development works and discussed the measures to further streamline service delivery system in the district.
He issued instructions to R&B, Hydraulic Division and Forest Department to speed up the works being executed by them under various schemes. He asked them to sort out the problems being faced in execution of works and bring in his notice where they face problem. He also called for expediting the work on the construction of Polytechnic College, Naigad Canal water scheme, roads, bridges, temporary culverts and ropeways in the district, considering the short working season.
He also said that ration will be allotted to the poor people at enhanced scale.
