KHC discusses demands

JAMMU, Dec 25: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) met under the chairmanship of M L Thussoo wherein they discussed the preparation of inventory of immovable property left behind by Kashmiri migrants in the Valley.
The notice was discussed threadbare in the executive body and the leaders took strong executive to the notice DIP/J-6061 dated 17.12.2014 published in Daily Excelsior. They said that the properties in the Valley have been encroached upon at various places by the land mafia and even the State Government.
They added that the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner has not mentioned any thing about the said immovable property disposed off under the distress sale. The leaders stressed the authorities to prepare an inventory of moveable property under distress sale.
The meeting among others was addressed by KHC convener P L Koul Badgami and another senior leader Jai Krishan Maktoom.
