Khattar pays tribute to martyr Udham Singh on his martyrdom day

CHANDIGARH, July 31:
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday paid tributes to the great revolutionary Sardar Udham Singh on his martyrdom day. In a message here, Mr Khattar said that the entire nation will always remember the supreme sacrifice made by Sardar Udham Singh to safeguard the integrity of the nation and his dedication towards the motherland.
Recalling the revolutionary step of Sardar Udham Singh, the Chief Minister said that Sardar Udham Singh worked as a one-man army. He went to London to avenge the loss of innocent countrymen who were massacred in the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy.
Calling upon the youth, Mr Khattar said that everyone should take inspiration from the martyrdom of such great revolutionaries and come forward to contribute in nation-building to maintain the integrity and pride of the country.
“The sacrifice of the martyrs remind us of our patriotic heritage and great tradition,” he said. “We can pay true tribute to such valiant bravehearts only by following the path of sacrifice and patriotism as shown by them,” Mr Khattar added. (UNI)
