Khatri Sabha demands restoration of statehood to J&K

JAMMU, July 18: Vishal Khatri Sabha of J&K, president Devender Seth urged the Government for restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, followed by conducting Assembly election, so that people can elect their representatives for overall development.
It was stated by him during the review meeting of the Sabha and urged the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to fulfil all genuine demands of the general public on priority. “The Administration needs to make committed efforts to lay special focus on improving the prompt service delivery mechanism for timely disposal of public grievances,” he observed.
He further said that people of J&K need elected Government which should not be delayed further for assuaging socio-economic and political aspirations of the people and this is the only way to end sufferings of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
