JAMMU, June 16: The ‘KhataKhat’ remark by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is a blatant attempt to deceive the women of the country.
This was stated by J&K BJP Vice President, Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing a public meeting held here today.
Addressing the people, BJP leader criticized the Congress Party’s latest initiative of distributing cards among women before the recently concluded LokSabha Polls, promising financial aid of Rs 1 lakh per annum and labelled it as an unrealistic and non-transparent political ploy by the Congress leader.
He described Rahul Gandhi’s statements as nothing more than empty rhetoric, aimed at garnering votes without any substantive backing.
“Rahul Gandhi’s ‘KhataKhat’ remark is a classic example of the Congress party’s long-standing tradition of making lofty promises that are disconnected from reality. These tactics are designed to mislead the public and distract from their lack of a coherent and sustainable fiscal policy,” he stated.
“Distributing cards among women with the promise of providing Rs 1 lakh is not only impractical but also raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. The Congress party is hiding behind these grandiose promises without presenting a clear plan for implementation or funding,” he added.
He also challenged Congress leaders to come out and face the women, who have opened their bank accounts in hope of receiving the promised financial aid.
“Congress has cheated the women of the country to secure votes in the Lok Sabha elections,” he asserted.
The senior BJP leader urged the public to see through the Congress’s political gimmicks and focus on the BJP’s track record of delivering tangible results and sustainable development.
“The entire BJP leadership under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, remains dedicated to working tirelessly for the betterment of all citizens, ensuring that every promise made is a promise kept,” he added.
