NEW DELHI, Aug 5: Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge today faced discomfiture in the Lok Sabha today when Speaker Sumitra Mahajan greeted him with a ‘Namaste’.
As soon as House assembled for the day, Kharge was seen with his back to the Chair talking to some Congress member in the second row.
To draw his attention, the Speaker greeted him with a ‘Namaste’ for the second time after she did so to the whole House.
An embarrassed Kharge was seen immediately responding to Mahajan with a ‘Namaste’ and sat in his front row seat. (PTI)
